To give credit where credit's due, the best replies were from Bob (under 10% buy-backs are purchases) and Jainen (S-179 can be taken). I missed that "weeks ago" discussion Bob mentioned, so this info will be useful as the $1 buy-out comes up quite a bit.

Also, Veritas was right -- they're frequently bad deals. On bad advice and against my better judgment, I once leased a $16K Chevrolet truck that ended up costing $23K.

on lease/buy by PMEDDERS on 8/20/06. I guess it was more than a few weeks ago. Use "search" to find> Lease w/Option to Buy
