WOW. Hey folks need help here.

In this software I am reviewing, on their Partnership input page it asks Type of Entity:

1. Indv-Passive 2. Partnership 3. Corporation 4. Estate 5. Trust 6. Other
7. Indv-Active 8. Exempt 9. Nominee -C 10. Nominee-F 11. Nominee-P
12. Nominee-E 13. Nominee-IRA 14. Nominee-I .

Anyone have a good description of these? Or where one can be found?

Not sure what you really are asking but I'll take a stab at something.
1 thru 8 appear as they say.
9 maybe a nominee for a (C)orporation
10 maybe a nominee for a (F)udicary
11 maybe a nominee for a (P)artnership
12 maybe a nominee for a (E)state
13 maybe a nominee for a (I)RA
14 maybe a nominee for a (I)ndividual

This is probably for doing information returns such as W2 and 1099's.

Thanks Much, after further research the software program flowed the entity info to the identity of the K-1 holder.
