Roland Slugg and other Immigrants to TMI

It seems that several people who used to post on the ATX message board have dropped off or reduced their participation on the ATX board since the board was made so much more difficult to navigate.

A shining example is Roland Slugg who used to post on the ATX Tax forum and seems to have departed after Aug 30.

    Hey Joe

    To Joe Qzdmjrf:

Hey we rolled out the red carpet for Sluggo.

We'll take all the ATXer refugees we can get with open arms!

As an ATXer, I have still been visiting the ATX board, but less and less. TMI's board here is A LOT easier to keep track of read posts than ATX. Now I just need to review a 2005 TMI book that a fellow taxpreparer gave me a month ago and see if I order one for 2006. Along with everything else that needs to get done in my spare time

I agree, the new format to ATX makes it extremely time-consuming, and a lot of the former frequent posters have quit or curtailed their postings.
K C Jenkins is about the last fan of the ATX board. I believe she has made over 400 postings since the changeover. If she ever leaves, William may have to answer all the questions.

Why don't you go ask KC and William to come on over here where all the action is. We have more fun, plus the webieners are almost ready...

            Now you're making me hungry.

C'mon over for good tax discussions, and good eats!

I am one of those who has basically left the ATX board. I do more looking than posting. BTW, I have not been successful in registering on this site.

I know I don't get out much, but what are "webieners"?

Actually spelled webinar, they are technically tax seminars you can attend via the Internet. However, Armando and I have found they taste good hot off the grill.

I think I must have been one of the first group that jumped from ATX forum to here. I still post occasionally on ATX but there isn't anyone like bees to argue with over there. How do we all get some of those webieners? I'm not to far from that grill when will they be ready?

Do they serve an e-beer with the webieners?

How are things in Pa?? Getting cold yet? I just registered here myself. I was a little disappointed with the new ATXers forum. I guess that happens sometimes when you try to fix something that's not broken :-)

Yes winter is comming to PA. We have had frost a few mornings but no freeze yet. Mid 30's during the night 50's in the day.

I thought the ATX board was great but find the new format cumbersome. Since a number on te ATX bard have showed up here, I find there is really no need to go there.
