    IRS says return not filed

    Has anyone been experiencing the IRS telling the client they never got the return even though you have their acknowledgement for having e-filed?

    My recent experience is just that. And when I fax a copy of the acknowledgement to the IRS they just say they never got the return which then has to be manually filed.

    I really think the upgrades to their computers have serious bugs! taxea

      Never had that happen

      I would be calling my e-file coordinator. If you do could you let us know what happened?
