Has anybody given the client copy of the tax return via non paper methods?

If there is a non-paper is the CD or the Web Portal the best procedure?

What is the best method to lock a PDF?

Please give the pros and cons to sell me on your point of view.

Non Paper Returns

I still haven't converted to the paperless office, but seeking out sources and procedures.

For 2004 returns, my tax software included emailing returns to clients via PDF files. I used the feature several times and it went smoothly. PDF files were locked with a code that only myself and the client would know. You could also copy to a CD and give the client a CD with his tax return info.
