    company stock sold

I have a client that has company stock sold. On the 1099B is shows no federal tax withheld, but on the release, confirmation shows taxes paid. Not sue where to report taxes paid

If the employer withheld the taxes (via selling some of the stock) then the taxes withheld should be included on the W-2. (If the broker withheld the taxes, you'll have to ask more questions.)

Wouldn't the 1099B statement show Federal withholding tax somewhere within the brokerage information? The taxes paid should be shown on the tax return on the line with FWT like the W-2.
I suggest you contact the financial institution that facilitated the transaction if it is not employer related.
