Question for payroll tax preparers... IRS instructions are not clear to me on this... When filing form 941X, is the corrected copy of the 941 to be filed with it? Or is the 941X filed alone without including the corrected 941?

I found this in the instructions:
Generally, file Form 941-X separately. Don't file Form 941-X with Form 941.
I imagine it/s similar to filing 1040-X, where you don't need to file 1040, just the forms/schedules that have changed. The 941-X instructions also refer to when you should file a Schedule R with the form, which wouldn't be necessary to specify if you were already required to attach an entire 941 form."You said it, they'll never know the difference.
