    Inheritance

Normally an inheritance received from an individual who has died is not taxable to the individual recipitent. However in this case the assets of the deceased were in A Charitable Remainder Trust and one of the recipitents wants their 2/3 proceeds to be transferred to their CRT. Does this make the inheritance received as being taxable at capital gains rates since the assets are investments held in the CRT for more than a year. Thanks,,,Duane Anderson
