    If he had a nonprofit, the amount the nonprofit 'charges' to the clients or donators belong to the nonprofit, not himself.

    Then the nonprofit can pay him wages for his work, but that will be taxable to him.. So anything that he personally receives for himself will be taxable.

      Ok thank you for the responses and thank you for tolerating me playing devils advocate. We have ALOT of non profits in this area springing up everywhere for all kinds of "missions". Your insights will be very helpful.
