    IRS Tax Preparer Priority LINE

I know everyone has hard of this this, but I experienced yesterday and it was fantastic!! The initial call was answered in one ring, the woman was great to work with, it had to do with a 1040 refund that had been adjusted because the W-2 had been amended - she stated she could do the work, but boss may have to ok because a different department would have to be contacted. I waited five minutes she came back and said taxpayer had been released and the refund would be there in four to six weeks. Then I said my second case is with a trust, she stopped and said that trusts were handled by the business department and I will transfer you. One wring and the trust guy is on the line and I said the trust had a refund for 2019 and never received. He looks it up and says no there are refunds for your trust for 2020 and 2019. I still do not understand, but the problem must be in the address, but we reviewed the address and it was fine. So the refunds were released and should arrive in 4-6 weeks. I had faxed POAs for both early Feb and they had they went to them right away. I really think all is well, it is back to 20+ years ago where there was good help+++!!!!!
