Not sure if this forum can be used for a post like this so apologies if this is not appropriate... I prepare payroll for a client in Indiana but this client has just hired an employee to work from home in Washington state. Looks like there is no state or local withholding tax. However, it appears that the client needs to setup an unemployment account. Trying to research the steps involved to get this set up. Question is this: Anyone on the forum here knowledgeable about Washington state unemployment as it relates to payroll processing and willing to discuss by private message? Thanks.
