    can you max out BOTH 403(b) AND 457?

    Public Universities offer both the 403b and the 457 plans. Can taxpayer contribute to both and max out for both of $20,500 to each for 2022? So they would be deferring total of $41,000.
    Or is it limited to just $20,500 between the two plans? TIA

      Yes you can BUT be mindful of the 415 limit which includes employer contributions.
