    Prior Year Transcripts

    Customers have reason to get info from the form 2119 (deferred amount from the sale of their residence) filed with their 1996 tax return.
    Is this possible ? If so, what would be the best way for the taxpayers to get this ?

      I have used form 4506-T to order a 10 year old return transcript that was required for some estate issues. I am not sure if it goes back to 1996, but worth a try.
