Trying to do a sanity check here, I have a client that has a trucking business to pickup/transport from farms and other local businesses. He should be eligible for the fuel tax credit, correct? I don't show it on the prior year return from a previous preparer. Is scrapping included in this as well?

Does he have Farm Plates? If yes then he may be eligible for Fuel Tax Credit ONLY for non Highway use. Also if he hauls Refrigerated Trailers the Diesel used in that unit is allowed a fuel credit. Got to keep track of the gallons etc.Taxes after all are the dues that we pay for the privileges of membership in an organized society. - FDR
