Refund dates

Any one know what the latest dates could be for 2018 with a refund. Picked up 2 this week end. I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I did notice TP put in an extension with no balance due. He said prior preparer suggested he do it. With all the various dates IRS put out there I am maybe lost.

Best have it mailed around April 10th or so. I would not push it to much farther than that. Certified mail with signature request. Probably at least a year wait on any refund.

With no extension by the taxpayer, the last day for mailing with a USPS postmark is April 18, 2022.
With the extension by the taxpayer, October 17, 2022
