    is maternity leave considered disabled DEP CARE CREDIT

    is maternity leave considered months disabled for purposes of the child and dependent care credit. I believe not. Also I believe that expense for child and dependent care credit incurred while on maternity leave are not eligible. Can anyone confirm these 2 points? Thanks.

      You are correct on both accounts; both do not qualify.
