    VA Benefits

I have a client who want to refinance their home and all she has is VA Benefits which is not taxable. The lender says it does not matter they need to see a tax return. Am I missing something?

    Thanks

Lenders need to check the boxes to bundle and resell the mortgages. Prepare an accurate tax return!

But since there is no place on the tax return to put VA Benefits, much like Social Security the return would only have their personal information.

I believe with VA Benefits you can get a "benefits letter", much like with Soc. Sec. And I would think that would suffice.
