Medicare payments on schedule 1??

I listened in on a seminar today on the proposed Biden administration tax changes. One of the items that caught my ear was that Medicare payments can be deducted on schedule 1 for an above the line adjustment to AGI. That's a game changer! Has anyone else heard this?

I would not hold my breath on this one.
However, I bet the IRMAA folks would be very supportive of the move!!

I didn't realize Medicare premiums have anything to do with the taxable amount of Soc Sec benefits.
Have I missed something??
