    Wrong Bank information

    Client provided me with the wrong bank information. IRS sent direct deposit out on the 9th. Client has a different bank altogether. Should they file a 3911?

    No, too soon. You should wait a couple of months, because form 3911 is for tracking lost or missing funds, and yours is just in process. When IRS gets it back they will mail it to client
