    Is a non-resident return required?

    A New York taxpayer files a Schedule C. She receives a 1099-NEC from a New Jersey based company for being an Off-site lab director which she performs from her NY residence. Is she required to file a Non-Resident tax return with New Jersey? Is this New Jersey sourced income that would require such a return? Thank you.
