QB budget vs. forecast

I try to find the difference between budget and forecast in QB. "Forecast" is supposed to be an what-if scenario whereas "budget" is your projected numbers. This is the way I understand it.

However, I see no difference in Quickbooks. Does anyone know?

I've used the budget feature in QB. However, I've never worked with the forecast. Most of my clients are happy to get all their transactions entered properly and never even touch the budget part.
