      Exactly. It's not illegal to refuse to help your clients pay less tax, but I oppose it.

        Exactly. It's not illegal for the rich not to pay their fair share of taxes, but I oppose it.

        I actually don't oppose what the OP proposes, it's not that different from refusing the IRS' feeble requests to return EIPs received by survivors of decedents. I still would like to know, however, what the preparer's cut of the loot is, since without the help of a preparer it is likely these taxpayers would not go to such great lengths to exploit a loophole. Most recipients of EIPs, as intended, do not have to resort to exploiting loopholes, in fact they don't have to pay anyone anything to get the government handout.

          Correct, not illegal. Just opposing views. Can’t tell from your reply post if you help your clients pay less tax or refuse to help your clients pay less tax,

          One view helps clients save paying less taxes legally and the other view does not. Never had a client that wanted to pay more taxes than they had to pay.

          Good old Capitalism for those that support it.
