    Is New York following the Fed or decoupling on Unemployment Compensation

    Is New York State following the new federal rules regarding the $10,200 exclusion on unemployment taxability? Or will they be decoupling from the Fed?

      I haven't seen anything office on this yet. However, IMO, I don't think NY will conform. If they won't let us take a measly $300 charitable contribution on the NY return, I doubt they'll want to give a $10,200 deduction.
