People are going ga-ga over getting more stimulus money. What is the calculation for the amounts to be expected, if the income threshold is not exceeded?

This has been bantered back and forth for weeks. I'm hearing everything and don't know what to believe. I've even heard part of the stimulus payment is going to be a retroactive excess child credit. Do any of you have the correct scoop?

$1,400 per person including including dependents and people who qualify for the other dependent credit. Phase out single $75,000- $80,000. Married $150,000-$160,000. This will be a very hard cap.
The 3rd stimulus does not have a retroactive excess child credit.
