    Does normal bequests go on 1041

    Does normal bequests or inheritances go on 1041. I think not. I see line 10 on Schedule B called Other Amounts Paid, Credited or Otherwise Required to be Distributed.
    I assume they mean something else and not normal inheritance monies from Checking, Savings, etc. Thanks for your input.

    Apparently, you are not that familiar with Estate Income Tax form 1041. The Amount Paid,......etc, refers to distributions of monies made by the estate to the beneficiaries during the estate year. This is used to calculate DNI or the deduction which carries to page 1. To the extent it represents income, it is passed thru on the K-1 and reportable by the beneficiaries.
