    Stimulus college grad.

Student graduated in 2019. Parents received stimulus 1 & 2 for student based on 2019 Return
on which he was a dependent. For 2020 no schooling. Wages about $12000.00 plus. Age 22 at 12/31/20.
If I set up 2020 as his own dependent the worksheet calculates $1800.00 for Line 30. Is this valid or double dipping?

I would think that parents didn't get anything for student in first 2 therefore setting up student to get it all. I have had several like this. My biggest problem in this is dealing with separated and divorced parents who keep switching kids around.

How did the parents get a stimulus for the student? He wasn't under age 17.

payments for College student. Thanks to everyone.
