    NYC 457 Plan retirement withdrawals

    Are distributions in retirement from NYC 457 plans excludable from income on the NY return IT-201 on line 26 as pensions from local government?

      No - but they qualify for the non-government pension $ 20,000 exclusion.
      I had one just last week and I checked it out.
