    2nd stimulus payment - both taxpayers deceased in December

    I have a client whose parents both tragically died in December of 2020. I am preparing their final return. Software says they should receive that second stimulus check, but intuitively, that doesn't seem correct. Could someone direct me to an answer on this? Thanks in advance.

    If the government sent EIPs to them, such payments do not need to be repaid.

      Never mind. Found the answer. They are eligible.
