Paid Sick Leave Refundable Credit and The Single Employee-Owner S-Corp

Has anyone seen anything about a situation where you have an S-corporation with only one employee who is the owner obtaining a paid sick leave refundable credit? We will assume that their compensation is reasonable.

I have a client that got COVID and was unable to see clients for a period of time but continued to pay themselves a salary. Could they claim the credit?

The business would have had to been subject to lockdown by govt authority or reduced gross receipts over 50%. The IRS has good FAQs on Employee Retention Credit. Every business owner should examine this.

The question is about paid sick leave, not the ERC.
