    State Tax

I have a Florida client that has a K-1 from another state. If there is a loss on the K-1 from the other state (Pennsylvania) do I still have to file the state return? If not, how are the losses carried forward?

PA doesn't allow for carryovers of losses. I would not file the return at this point unless they had other PA income.

Per the law PA requires you to file. However my experience is they won't be coming after you if you don't.
