Texas Unemployment Rates for New Employers

GA CPA needing some guidance with TX Unemployment rates for new TX business. I understand the total max rate for 2020 is 6.31%, but how is that broken down for setup in client's QuickBooks? The texas TWC website is "hosed" due to unemployment claims. Any assistance in getting the component info is greatly appreciated.

The 6.31% is the maximum for existing employers based on claims for unemployment, among other things. New employers had a 2.70% rate. I haven't had a new employer in years, so I don't know if this 2.70% is still the same.

Have you applied for an EIN and account for this new employer?

Have you tried this link: https://www.twc.texas.gov/businesses...mentTaxAccount
