Paper stimulus checks have gone out

FWIW, I just got a call from a client that received the $1,200 paper check. He's retired with AGI under 20K.

Received the stimulus check dated 4/24/20 and Trump's name is in the memo field. 1st line: "Economic Impact Payment", 2nd line: "President Donald J. Trump"

You may want to frame a copy of that check because I don't think you will see something like that again in your lifetime!

I'm hoping that the people who were finally able to enter their banking information this week are not in this group of people receiving paper checks. If so, I hope the IRS can verify and not send out a DD for them. With all the dead people, dependents, and married couples getting extra amounts, I would not be surprised they get two payments instead of one. Apparently even trusts are getting EIPs.

How can trusts get EIP's when the requirement for it is a Social Security Number, not Employer ID#?
