I have a couple of clients that have received letters from the IRS and they have not reported their 1095-A insurance. The IRS letter has a fax number which I want to use it is 855-892-7588. I have been trying for 4 days but all I get is a busy signal Sunday, morning evening even after 9PM. Was wondering if the number is wrong or possibly shut off, I cannot believe it is constantly busy. If anyone knows anything about the fax number I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I know we could just mail the information which I am getting ready to do if I can't get it through soon. What Lion said and I believe IRS has suspended all enforcement, audit actions until 7/15. So basically the refund will be adjusted based on IRS records and then after 7/15 you can apply for correction.Taxes after all are the dues that we pay for the privileges of membership in an organized society. - FDR
