    Trade tech schools

Can trade tech schools be claimed on tax return. I have a 17 year old daughter that's taking a cosmetology class at East Valley Institute of Technology. $1,150 was paid for supplies and tuition. The American Opportunity Credit for Qualifying Education List lists Undergraduates and graduate study and I'm wonder what form to fill out?

Some references (may not be all inclusive to your scenario):

The Tax Book 12-4 Eligible Students

Learn how the American Opportunity Tax Credit (AOTC) can help pay up to $2,500 for tuition and other qualifying expenses per student each year on your tax return during the first four years of higher education.

Also, make sure there were no other out of pocket expenses. I know uniforms are requried (at least they used to be) and are integral to the program. $4,000 is the magic number to max the benefit.
