    NOL carry forward

    We have a taxpayer that has a NOL carry forward from 2018. Can it be carried to 2019 if no election was made in 18 to forego carryback?

      After 2017, didn't the TCJA eliminate carrybacks. making the 2018 default to carryforward to 2019? Haven't had one this year, so don't trust me but do your own research.
