Dairy Farmers - DFA and DPAD

8903 is in the program, I can put the DPAD on line 23, but where does it go from there? Is it still a deduction off the front page? (or whatever page the deducts are on now)

Very limited circumstances where 8903 is still applicable. I suggest starting by reading instructions for the form.

I've read the form and everything I can google. Nothing is very definite. DPAD and QBI can both be deductions? Just need some dairy expertise

I've read on it and it is still confusing! My answer is yes you can have DPAD from a Cooperative which is their QBI basically the "new" DPAD passed through and still have QBI but the deduction will now be limited.
This sight might provide some help. https://www.calt.iastate.edu/

Depends on the Co-ops prior fiscal years as to whether its claimed or not. The 1099patr and other documents sent to the taxpayer should explain the Co-ops taxing situation and if the Dpad (form 8903) is applicable.
