I need an answer to this question, please. I know GA does not allow the special depreciation allowance like the federal does. But on Schedule 1 you add back the federal depreciation that was taken off the 1040. At this point you have no depreciation deduction on the State return. Can you take the special depreciation allowance deduction off the state return by using a different method like 200DB/MQ over time or is this piece of equipment not allowed at all on your state return? I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone on this subject - hopefully someone on this forum knows how this works. Thank you
