Husband wife own 2 partnership entities. One partnership was filed as a protective filing. The other partnership was filed as a regular partnership return. Both partnership returns have to be amended for 2018. Do we amend the partnership returns as we would normally file a partnership return by checking amended and file a 1065. Or do we need to file the partnership returns as a 1065X?
