    Use Tax - Florida

    Client is a restaurant and buys bar stools that are fixed to the ground. He buys the stools online from out of state and he is not charged sales and use tax. Is he liable for use tax in Florida for that purchase?

          Yes, generally. See form DR-15MO for remitting tax to Tallahassee. If sales tax paid in other state is lower than 6%, then it looks like difference is due to FL.
