    TCJA advisor fees and trading commissions

    Investment advisor fees are no longer deductible. Ok.

    However, aren't trading commissions still? As a change to basis and/or gross proceeds?

      Yes. No change on that front. The brokerage statement usually reflects that in the buy/sell information reported to the IRS.
