It is my understanding that the use of energy credits per form 5695 generally expired for returns after 2017.
Do I have this right or were the old energy credits extended ? I understand that certain solar & geo-thermal credits are still available.
My customer installed a new gas furnace in 2018, so they apparently can't take the limited credit that had been previously available.
