    Form 1310 efile

Is there a way to efile a 1310 for a single TP that died? Had a will appointed bro as adm. Is this one that has to be paper filed?

Yup! You got to paper file. I am not sure why IRS can't accept an e-file if the documentation is attached as a pdf!

My software (Lacerte) allows you to efile the Form 1310, the last year I efile one was 2015, plan on electronically filing one this year.

You can e-file so long as you are marking box C in Part I. Be sure to read the text on B if that's the one you selected, because it's not that common to have a court appointed or court certified personal representative. It's easy to fall into the trap of having a "representative" filing for the refund and checking box B thinking that you have a court certified representative when you do not.
