    Qualified business income

    Is oil and gas payment on a 1099 Misc Box 7 considered as qualifying income? This income did go a Sch.C subject to SE tax. Client also gets royalties from same company.

      In all those hundreds of pages of "clarifications" there was something about oil/gas interests, but I don't remember if it was yes or no. Maybe someone else researched it for their client. Or, you'll research it and share.
