    Investors and QBI

    Do passive investors in an LLC taxed as a partnership get qualified business income from a hotel? I've read conflicting reports on this.

      Yes.

      The determination for QBI is determined at the entity level. So if the Partnership qualifies for QBI, all partners, even Limited Partners, qualify for QBI.

          Thanks, I guess I'm too hung up on the QBI definition.
