    Insurance for CPAs

    What type of insurance is required for a CPA firm the first year they start a practice with no audit work.

      Unless your state accountancy board requires it I believe there is no mandatory insurance requirement. Obviously it is prudent to have E&O coverage for professional liability.
      Taxes after all are the dues that we pay for the privileges of membership in an organized society. - FDR
