    trying to apply for ein, something wrong, gives me three reasons. anyone else having trouble?

          One time client asked me to get an EIN for the trust and it got rejected because someone else had already requested an EIN. I had to call IRS to fix the issue because the EIN issued was NOT for the correct trust. So as Lion suggested look at the reason and you may have to call the prac. hotline to get an answer.
