What is the last date IRS will accept efiling in 2018?

The system shuts down this Saturday (November 17th) at 11:59 pm for Individual returns. It is quite possible your software provider may shut down a few hours before that.

Business returns can usually be filed until mid-to-late December.

Thanks. I looked all over the internet for this and could not locate it. And have no record of any emails either. Your link does not mention business returns, but those are the ones I was concerned about.

They haven't announced the Business Entity shut down yet (they usually announce it in early December). Last year it shut down on December 26th.
