Partnership A (Florida) owns partnership B that has 100% nexus in a different state (B). Are the partners of Partnership A that has nexus only in Florida but gets a K-1 from Partnership B considered to have nexus in state B due to their interest in partnership B.

Non resident partners nexus issues in regards to partnership interest

Nexus-check the State explanation below is very limited
For sure A has Nexus in B for any business activity B has there(including rentals). Now A's activity does not go to B on the flow through under old/current rules, but economic presence is new and used by some states. Investment activities(interest, dividends-stock sales etc) only (not rental) flow to partners and their State.
Stay tuned changes will happen to these issues.
