    Non physical injury awards

Per current issue of Kiplingers tax letter an appeals court has just ruled that the section of the tax code that taxes awards for mental anguish and injury to professional reputation is unconstitutional.(Murphy, D.C. Cir.).......Service will appeal and we will have to wait for Supreme Court ruling. In the interim those who paid tax on these type of damage awards might want to file protective refund claims.

Sandy, I been noticing in your posts that you sure do come up with some pertinent links, how do find all those links?

        Just lucky I guess

This one under Jimmcg, Gabriele posted, so that one was easy. She did the research!

I have had training in some other research, so just "googling"! I am sure not always on target for some questions posted, but sometimes think it might help. If I can find info that I think might be pertinent I will post.

This Board and the posters have assisted me so much, it is just a way I can give back!

Once you know the right words you can find anything......

I just wished it would happen to me more often than just once in a while...
