    SALT year 2018 $10K CAP. Does it include property tax?

    Does the 2018 $10,000 limit on personal property tax on schedule A include real estate taxes?

    Yes, the $10,000 limit applies to the combined total of (1) Real Estate taxes, (2) Personal Property Tax, (3) State Income Tax, and (4) Sales Tax.

      And real estate taxes on foreign property no longer are included even in the $10K.
